The Kunsthaus Dresden displays regularly changing exhibitions of contemporary art. The exhibitions address specific and typically current topics of contemporary art oriented towards an international spectrum.
Please read the information pertaining to the current program available on our homepage — the exhibitions shown at the Kunsthaus Dresden are special exhibitions which necessitate intermittent restructuring. The Kunsthaus is open from Tuesday to Sunday. Admission is usually free on Friday. Please visit our homepage for more on openings hours and admission fees.
Concerts, performances, Films, Lectures, Workshops
One of the main objectives of the Kunsthaus Dresden is to offer current cross-genre events relating to the foci of exhibitions. Please see our current program for information on discussions, films, lectures or performances and admission.
Discussions / Guided tours for advanced visitors
For the advanced visitor (and anyone who wishes to become one), we offer exhibition tours guided by an expert from our team. During your guided visit to an exhibition, you have the opportunity to delve behind the scenes with our team member and discuss the background of the development of the artworks and the exhibition itself. This special visit to the exhibition can also be made available to youths in VET or to students in small or medium-sized groups. Please request a guided tour in your native language; someone is usually available who is happy to discuss art with you in English and Spanish, for instance.
Mediation at the Kunsthaus Dresden
Each Friday at 4 – 6 pm (admission is free on Friday), this offer is available to individual visitors who wish to learn more. Please register at the visitor desk!
