Marta Kubiak

The Roland Gräfe Foundation – Foundation for Art and Culture, residing in Radebeul near Dresden, awarded the Polish graphic artist Marta Kubiak from Breslau in 2016 with her art prize, endowed with 7,500 euros. She was selected by a five-man jury among 18 Polish artists from Breslau and her exhibition „I cut my head“ will now be shown in the Kunsthaus Dresden after stations in Wroclaw and Görlitz. Marta Kubiak works mainly in the medium of serigraphy, a screen-printing technique, which allows to combine photographic, graphic and painterly work processes.
