The transformation of the robotron canteen into a cultural and social hub
The City of Dresden invites all Dresden residents, as well as local residents and visitors to the city, to the robotron canteen – once the staff canteen of VEB robotron – on Saturday, 9 May 2026.
At this unique venue, we would like to take you on a guided tour from 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm to explore the past and future of the former VEB robotron canteen, engage in conversation with one another, and also briefly introduce the ‘National Urban Development Projects’ funding programme.
Meeting point for the tour: Main staircase of the robotron canteen, Lingnerallee by the skate park, 01069 Dresden.
